David received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the John Marshall School of Law in 1987. His undergraduate studies were completed at the United States Naval Academy and the University of Illinois, Chicago.
From 1987 through 1992, David was employed by the Cook County State's Attorney's office as an Assistant State's Attorney in the criminal

From 1987 through 1992, David was employed by the Cook County State's Attorney's office as an Assistant State's Attorney in the criminal division of the largest consolidate court system in the US, located at 26th and California, Chicago, IL.
In 1992, Attorney Finn established a private law practice which concentrates in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Business Matters. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
As part of his ongoing commitment to the community, David has spoken to numerous groups and senior organizations on the subject of probate and estate planning.
Attorney Finn is married with four children and lives in Elgin, IL where he coaches numerous youth baseball and basketball programs.
